| ¿Is Affiliate Marketing The Way? |
| Start simple – don’t get caught in the trap and technical “mumbo jumbo” of creating your own product. Don’ t get me wrong, creating products is the best way to build wealth (heck, I do it all the time now). But, creating your own product is also the best way to fail as an entrepreneur if you don’t do it right. Anik Singal, Affiliate Classroom Inc Is affiliate Marketing the way? Affiliate marketing is a high rewards and low cost marketing option to monetize our websites. As per Derrick VanDyke the basic components of a marketing system are: a hot product, a squeeze page to collect leads, a follow up system to sell for you, and bring you ….TRAFFIC! A good example of affiliate marketing is Amazon.com which launched into prominence the affiliate marketing concept. Since 1997, Amazon.com sells books and tons of other merchandise lately, online and only online. To succeed online we have to develop excellent products. The beauty about affiliate marketing is that there are great products we have to judge and pick the best available ones from the best merchants, for us to sell in exchange of a commission. Instead of spending huge amounts of money in developing products and services, and building a system to market them, we devote our efforts into sending people into the merchants accounts and then collecting commissions from the sales produced by our referrals or the prospects we send to the affiliate merchant site. There is a huge potential to make money on the Internet. However, it does take a lot more than intelligence, to make money and succeed in this business. Mathew Glandfield states that, “the way we approach this business will determine whether we will be successful or not.” Learn The Affiliate Way |

Every productivity expert will give you their opinion about how to get more things done in the same amount of time.
They’ll show you how to make to do lists, categorize them with 1, 2, 3, or A, B, C and try to get you to eliminate tasks off your list.
These methods can be helpful for some, but if it’s not working for you take a look at mind maps.
Mind maps are simply visual representations of ideas. You’ve probably used them before to organize your thoughts on a business project, or back in school when you were thinking about writing a research paper.
There are plenty of mind mapping software programs out there, from free to expensive. All have their own merits, but my favorite one to use is Freemind.
This won the medal for me because it’s simple, uses a hierarchical structure, exports maps as images, PDFs, and text outlines.
Let me give you an example of my (pretty typical) to-do list from this weekend.
Now if I were writing this on a piece of paper as they come to me, this is the order they came out.
Traditionally, I would then either rewrite my list, or designate each task as a 1, 2, or 3.
But with Freemind, I can actually move these things around based on categories I determine.
So for example, a regular to-do list map would look like this…
And I would then set up categories of Home, Office, Just for Fun, and put each task into a category.
(Alternatively, I could use things like morning, afternoon, evening)
Just this step alone of categorizing and shifting tasks into slots helps me tremendously. And if I make subcategories to group things by similar processes (i.e., social networking, online/offline work, etc.), I can make sure I am efficient, too.
Another cool feature within Freemind is when I’m focusing on a task, I can make the other tasks “disappear” so I am not distracted. That little circle next to a category means they’re still there. Just tucked away.
I use this same process whether it’s a daily agenda, a workshop, a product launch, or teleseminar - anything that benefits from strategic planning is a perfect fit for mindmaps.
One final tip - color helps me in my organization. So I will often use Freemind’s formatting tools to help my brain make sense of the map even more. So the map above turns into this…
By the way, another reason I like Freemind is it’s free! You can get it at DiscoverFreemind.com, and choose to learn from my video tutorials (optional) to learn how to use the software today.
I hope this lesson helps you rescue at least an hour of productive time every day like it has for me and the others I’ve introduced it to!

p.p.s. Sometimes the simplest things can have huge impact in multiple areas. Use mindmaps for yourself, but show it to teachers and students you know - it’s a life saver for lesson planning, organizing homework with extracurriculars, or even developing long range plans for college!

A considerable portion of my consulting time has recently revolved around the optmization of corporate blogs (or the addition of blogs to revamped sites). As usual, I find a pattern emerging in the strategies that need attention and the pitfalls that must be avoided. So, rather than charging $400 an hour to give advice on the subject, I thought it would be valuable to share many of the most common pieces of advice here on the blog (business part of Rand fights with open source Rand, but loses, as usual).
Best of luck to all you bloggers out there. It's an increasingly crowded field to play in, but these strategies should help to give you an edge over the competition. As always, if you've got additions or disagreements, I'd love to hear them.
p.s. Note to self - starting long blog entries at 11:30pm is not conducive to a good night's sleep. At least Angela got kicked off Project Runway tonight.

In the brick and mortar world that would define Excellence. Online, it is a daily quest to build and use the best tools for wwwebsite surfers and for entrepreneurs, marketers and online developers to keep track of the ever changing world wide web.

Expectation is so great that the web 2.0 summit in Tokio was sold out before the organizers were planning for.
Web 2.0 is more than the latest technology buzzword. It is a transformative force that is propelling companies and individuals across the world towards a new way of doing business, characterized by user participation and interaction between all individuals and companies concerned in a networking process unparalleled in the known history.
There are many questions that require to be studied and answered. What does web 2.0 mean for you, your company and your business? What are the risks and opportunities? What are the strategies for successfully capitalizing on the changes related to web 2.0? Web 2.0 impact is just beginning.
Web 2.0 summit is the gathering place for business leaders of the new web discussing and debating the most important issues and strategies driving the internet economy and the trends for the coming years.

Donald Tapscot, Jesse James, Katty Sierra, Mark Zuckerberg Facebook founder and CEO. Facebook Is a social utility that helps people communicate with friends, relatives, family, partners, and coworkers. Networking and social Networking are building the new web, and relations are using the net to build a world wide community which is using the web to build a global system without borders, and which is ready to share photos, experiences, ideas, videos, feelings and a lot more.
Social networking is being used by leading Internet Companies like Yahoo, Search BigDaddy and Google. Names like Diigo, MySpace, YouTube, Blogger, Flickr, Facebook, del.icio.us, BitTorrent, DirectMatches, Technorati are helping build highly interactive groups and help us communicate with friends and associates around the world.
Sharing photos, videos, music, romance, documments is building a world wide community which are joinned by millions of users around the world.
There are words or keywords which are used to group activities, ideas or reason for people to interact online: web, services, syndication, programming, business, dating, design, relations, family, vacation, music, holiday, travel, nature. These words or keywords, are used as labels or tags to associate with the content we submit to or search for on the web. These tags are used as identifiers the search robots use to sort the huge amount of information we can find online.
For us a tag is a category label. Tags helps us find information which have something in common. Let´s think of tags as category names. People can categorize their posts, photos, videos, music with any tag that makes sense.
Tags or tag names can be anything but they must be descriptive. Tags should be relevant to the post or content they refer to.
Web 2.0 is interaction, relations, participation, sharing. The future is here.

Christmas: Tradition Of Love And Sharing
Are you ready for the Christmas holidays? With love, when relations, gifting and sharing are the feelings and joy of the season? Christmas is the time for joy, love and relations.
God bless you and give you the best Christmas ever. Let love, health, prosperity and abundance come to you in an ever increasing flow of blessings for you and those you love and care for.
Make this the best Holiday season ever. The Christmas miracle season, brings the movement of money which creates wealth, hope, love and friendship for everybody. Chocolate, flowers, books, toys, all the way up to diamonds, luxury cars, the cruise of your life, are welcome during this holiday season and ever.
From the gospel of Luke we can experience the wonder of the original Christmas story. Amongst the shepherds living out in the fields an Angel of the Lord appeared to them and the Glory of the Lord shone around them, to bring the world great news of joy for all the people.
The Angel announced the birth of a savior in the town of David. Christ the Lord has been born. Celebrating Christmas on December 25th is a high point in the year. Since November, it is very difficult to forget that Christmas is coming. Colored lights, Christmas trees, Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus are seen all over letting us know that Christmas is coming.
Santa Claus has become the human face of Christmas. Children are taught Santa will bring them toys and presents the night before Christmas. Christmas is a time of magic and excitement for children and adults alike. Santa is based on a real person, St Nicholas, a Christian leader from the 4th century AD.
In the American colonies, Catholics, Anglicans, Dutch reformed and Lutherans approved Christmas celebrations, which began to adopt a joyful and often boisterous tradition from pagan cultures.
Charles Dikens, one of the giants of English literature gave life to Christmas by writing “A Christmas Carol”. Charles Dikens wrote from his own experience with his enormous warmth of feelings. Dickens was particularly successful at evoking the sights, sounds and smells of London. Charles Dikens novel “A Christmas Carol” popularized Christmas as a family event.
For various early cultures, December 25 was a significant date: Babilonians believed the son of the queen of heaven was born on December 25. Egyptians celebrated the birth of the fertility goddess Isis on December 25. Arabs believed that the moon was born on December 24.
Christmas is a great opportunity for us to treat friends, relatives and loved ones with great recipes. It is an awesome experience to share gourmet food, Christmas sugar cookies, Christmas berry mocha fudge, Christmas sour cream potato salad, chocolate brownie cookies, oyster stew, cranberry punch, traditional baked ham, Christmas bread and more.
Merry Christmas to you. Joy to the world, the Lord is coming. “Joy to the world with truth and grace”. Christmas is the most relevant celebration for western countries. Let´s have a Merry Christmas with friends, family and loved ones who join us around a table full of delicious food and drinks and with our hearts full of love, friendship and kindness.
As the ancient Magi or Wise men who came to visit Jesus: Melchior king of Arabia, who brought a casquet of gold, Caspar, king of Tarsus who brought myrrh in a gold mounted horn, and Balthasar king of Ethiopia, who brought frankincense in a censer, lets share abundance and prosperity with those we love and care for.
From the ancient Romans we received the decorated tree. During their Saturnalia winter festivals, they decorated trees with small pieces of metal, in honor of Saturn the God of agriculture. By the year 1531, Christmas trees were sold in Alsace, which at the time was a part of Germany. From Paradise, we received the apple tree, decorated with apples as a symbol of Adam and Eve feast on December 24.
Mark Carr brought trees to New York streets in 1851 and opened the first retail Christmas trees lot in the United States. Franklin Pierce was the first president to introduce Christmas trees in the White House.
All the traditions we received from all over the world and different branches of our ancestors, are here for us to enjoy during Christmas holidays with all those we love and care for. Let´s join around the Christmas tree, to share and enjoy the prosperity and abundance of wealth, health and love, as blessings from heaven for being persistent and for working to build a better Universe for us and all the marvelous humans who are doing everything possible for every citizen of the world to enjoy a better life style.
God bless you and all around you. Let Christmas be the best holiday ever and the beginning of higher and better achievements.
